RWA electrically operated spindle drives are intended for the electromotive opening and closing of bottom, top and side hung windows, skylights and light domes. Due to their small dimensions and technically sophisticated detailed solutions, e.g. the internally located cable guide or the mechanical load disconnection, they are ideal drives for direct opening of RWA windows.

Electric spindle drive E 1500 S for skylight

In the case of HSVS the drive stroke of 1000 millimetres is attained in just 60 seconds, meaning that a considerably greater opening width is achieved in an even shorter time. Due to the high tensile and compressive forces of 1500N the drive is suitable for use with heavy skylights.

• Variable applications for smoke exhausting and ventilation.
• Individual use on main or secondary closing edges facilitates very large opening widths.
• The E 1500 S attains its full stroke (1000 mm) in 60 seconds and is therefore suitable for tested and certified GEZE natural smoke and heat ventilators per EN 12101-2.
• Available with standard strokes of 300, 500, 750 and 1000 millimetres, retrospective adjustment of parameters to object-specific conditions.
• Application for solo or synchronous drive: True synchronous operation protects the window profiles and hinges in the event of failure and extends their service life.
