Central control units to control the individual components

GEZE Emergency power supply units

RWA BUS central control unit MBZ 300 is the new central control unit for smoke and heat extraction systems. The MBZ 300 units take over the supply, co-ordination and monitoring of all connected opening systems and components. They offer a high operational and service comfort.

The RWA emergency power supply unit E 260 N is the central control unit onto which all components are connected. It controls these components and provides them with power. In the event of a fire, it is activated via the automatic smoke detector, manual RWA switch or external alarms. Activation causes opening or closing of RWA openings, depending on the configuration of the central unit. Drives at the windows and smoke extraction openings can be controlled for regular ventilation operation via the ventilation switches. The RWA function is a higher level function than the ventilation function.

Central control unit for many components

As a central control unit, all components are connected to the RWA emergency power supply unit. It controls the components and provides them with power. From the type designation of the RWA emergency power supply unit, it is possible to ascertain the maximum allowable output for the drives and the number of connectable ventilation groups.

  • Up to four groups depending on the type of emergency power supply
  • Up to 10 smoke and heat detectors (RM1003/WM1005)
  • Up to 20 RWA switches FT 4- 24 V DC
  • Three vent switches with LED per group / any number without LED
  • Potential-free status contact: three contacts for alarm (horn), fault (warning light)

The RWA emergency power supply unit is the central control unit onto which all components are connected. It controls the components and provides them with power. From the type designation of the RWA emergency power supply unit, it is possible to ascertain the maximum allowable output for the drives and the number of connectable ventilation groups.

RWA BUS Central Control Unit MBZ 300 is a central control unit for smoke and heat extraction systems. The central unit takes over the supply, co-ordination and monitoring of all connected opening systems and components. The MBZ 300 offers a high operational and service comfort.
